Some Minor Tweeks

Aloha ladies and germs, after a spell of utter laziness (mostly due to a particularly exhaustive week last month) I have returned to… make some minor changes to the website. Yes. I gave the front page a little make-over, and I’m still fiddling with things behind the scenes to see if I can’t move the main navigation and make the header smaller. I’ve been considering switching to a new theme just because I am unable to change the copy in the footer as it’s encoded (not that I wouldn’t give credit to the maker of the wonderful theme that powers this site) but I enjoy how my site looks too much at the mo’.

I’ve also changed the recent post thinger at the top of the front page, I like this better although I’d rather be able to eliminate "site" and "art updates" as it’s still a bit redundant, but I think this gives people more of a flavor to choose from in the far too many ways available to navigate this site. I’ve also added a little "associates" bit to my sidebar featuring my good friend of many years Angel (we work the con circuit together baby, at least when I can afford to go to Atlanta) and my cartoonist contemporary with whom I exchange scathing critiques and often battle in Brawl HPK, as well as HPK’s brainchild The Scienteers.

I’ve also condensed my categories and deleted a few more extraneous posts, don’t worry, none you will miss. I crammed "politics" and "religion" into "rants" because those topics basically always are rants and I’d like to draw the focus away from them anyway and switch more to just talk about video game, animu, comics, my own work and perhaps… tutorials? Although not in the way you may be thinking…

I also badly want to update to the new Wordpress 2.5, my last update didn’t go very smoothly (I somehow missed out on tags. Completely.) However my gallery, as usual, will completely break if I do. So I’ll have to wait.
