I went to a Church of England primary school. We had collective worship every day and went to church for Easter and Harvest and such. And all this did was turn me into a self-professed aetheist who thinks the Satanic Bible makes a lot of good points and writes stories about gay angels.
Did I mention that my friend and I spent hours making up new words to the Lord’s Prayer?
Hah, take that, Religious Education!

My parents wanted me to get a Christian education, I went to a private school. I think it was 2 or 4000 dollars per kid, but hey, they wanted that for us to they shelled the cash out. It meant a lot to them. Private schools are there, so use them. If not school then teach it at your own house. The amazing thing is that sometime the very people who demand this stuff in public schools are the people who don’t want to ‘waste their own time’ with it back at home base. Hypocritical? Yes.

Note to Mysterious Midget: I dun believe prayer schools are wrong unless they are being enforced by the school/ it’s mandatory for all students to go to them. In fact, it would be wrong for someone to say the people CAN’T have them.

Course, I’m one of those kids that would probably be there, so you know. *shrug*

I also hate all the idiots who claim adding mandatory bible studies to school will stop crimes within school. And the reason for all the school shootings is when the American government took out bible studies from the school system. What’s hilarious, is back then I doubt a sniper rifle or even a handgun was easy to get. The plain fact guns are easier to get now. I also looked around the internet and found out crime rates by adolescents in the States hit a high while ‘Bibles were still in school’. Secondly crime rates were highest in the Southern States where Bible preaching in school were more…enforced.
