People Dislike Bush For His “Common Sense”
"[Bush haters are] sort of elite, effete snobs who can’t hold a candle to [him]. What they don’t like about him is that he is common sense, that he is Middle America." Ever wanted to hear retard Karl Rove and the big fat idiot Rush Limbaugh talk about how SMART George "Dubya" Bush is? Well here you go.
I’m not really sure who they’re trying to kid, or what they’re trying to prove, but I thought this downplaying of Bush’s critics in light of, well, the giant clusterfuck of schemes, lies, scandals, resignations, death and failure, didn’t work anymore. Then again we are talking about a Conservative radio show here, those only exist to parrot extreme Right-winger’s ideas of how they’d like reality to be, rather than how it actually is.
Bush is Middle America? Yeah that’s why his administration is slowly strangling the Middle Class. Only the elites of society dislike him? Sure they do, as they greedily lap up his tax cuts for the super rich 1%. People just don’t like Bush because he’s SMARTER THAN THEM? That sounds like the kind of defense a 15 year old internet lolcow would come up with.
The president’s approval rating has tanked, it’s about 30%, I don’t think it’s just the "elitists" who are pissed off at him. The entire country is stressed out, Iraq is a mess, things at home are a mess, every other country in the world hates us, everything’s going to shit just as many of us predicted back in 2000 when no one was paying attention.
I think the claim that made me laugh the hardest, though, was Karl Rove claiming Bush is well-read and they have book reading contests. He says Bush read 94 books last year. We’re talking about a guy who can’t even get through the entire Bible and still sees fit to announce to the world that GOD tells him to do things. I can’t see him sitting in an armchair reading "Of Mice and Men". Maybe if he were holding it upside down with a puzzled look on his face.
As for his common sense? Let’s see, Bush has managed to fall off a Segway, has been seen holding phones upside down, and says things like: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." and "This notion that the United States is getting ready to attack Iran is simply ridiculous. And having said that, all options are on the table." and "Border relations between Canada and Mexico have never been better." and "I want to send the signal to our enemy that you have aroused a compassionate and decent and mighty nation, and we’re going to hunt you down." and "There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once — shame on — shame on you. You fool me, you can’t get fooled again." No really. He’s said all those things. Just go to DubyaSpeak.com

I do think Bush is an idiot, and not just because of the way he talks. Somehow whenever I try to say that to Bush supporters, though, they’re like “JUST BECAUSE HE’S NOT ARTICULATE DOESN’T MEAN HE’S NOT SMART YARRR HIEL BUSH.” -_-; No, I don’t think it’s impossible for a bad public speaker to be a smart person. But it’s pretty obvious that he keeps changing the reason for us being in Iraq. WMD’s? No, we wanted to restore Christian-er, DEMOCRACY! Yes, that’s it!”
He gives my state a bad name… >_
I shun Bush. He makes all Texans look like total idiots.
That would’ve been in my last comment, but… your site was against me. XD
@Goku-chan Don’t fret, he’s not even a real Texan.
Lol and it seems you made a face my site no likey.
*snort* The first one made me laugh. Or, kinda laugh. Everyone in the house is sleeping so I need to be quiet-ish.
He really is an idiot. The fact he didn’t actually win the Popular Vote just shows we didn’t want him there in the first place. It’s just another lovely way our system likes to screw us over. Middle Class? WHAT Middle Class?? There’s no ‘middle’ about it anymore…
And what’s this about talks of bringing in the Draft, that now includes women, if I do remember correctly? If they instate the Draft there’s going to be an uproar. At least, there SHOULD be. But I don’t think Bush is going to be able to do so much as breathe the word without people jumping down his throat. As late as people are in seeing what’s going on, we’re pretty much fed up with it.
Course, too bad that when the people try to play their cymbals they get knocked over the head by the elitists’ gongs. Har har.
…. common sense…? What a load of horse shit. There’s not a shred of common sense in any damn thing he says. How do people still follow him? I mean, if that was my first impression of how Americans talk, act and think, I’d be pretty damn terrified. Okay, book reading contest my ass. There are images of him reading a ten page book upside down, but he’s not reading it, a little girl is reading it to him! And I know there are people who will say: “Oh, he’s just a busy man.” If he’s got enough free time to go to photo ops like that, he can hold the damn book straight.
i love how they say bush haters are elite.. cuz.. I’m probably poorer then dirt. i hate bush.. he may be a perfectly nice guy, but hes a pretty bad leader…
Don’t be so hard on Bush. I’m sure he didn’t ask these idiots to support him by making him look as stupid as they are. Then again, that might make him look smarter.
@black-allison Um. Do you even know who Karl Rove is? He worked on Bush’s campaign and was Bush’s Deputy Chief of Staff.
There’s also “A vast amount of our imports come from outside the country”
