A new illustration of Satan/Sammael coming at you. Yeah finally a finished illustration of his new design, with the added bonus that I’m mentioning I’ve changed his real name to Sammael, but he’s mostly called by his title of (the) Satan.

Digital Inking WiPs

Lately I’ve been trying my hand at digital inking, you know, because it’s supposed to be cleaner, faster… well it’s definitely not faster for me at this point, but at least it forces me to focus on shape and line more. I don’t think I’m going to go exclusively digital (as you can see even these are going over scanned pencil sketches) but I’ve wanted to experiment with it more lately, especially having to do with color.

Here are some of my (shoddy) attempts at digital ink, only one of which I’m likely to finish.

Sketch Dump!

All I seem to be able to do lately is sketch, though that may be in part because I’m trying to do different things with my style. So to make up for the lack of updates as of late here’s some of my more recent sketches:
